Filgud was born out of our commitment towards people and nature, in a quest to offer alternative choices to the most beloved animal products, alternatives that are rich in nutrients while being cholesterol-and-lactose-free.
The taste comes only from natural, well-chosen ingredients, while the “filgud”, this state of feeling good, is brought to you by our enthusiasm and the magic created by these ingredients, so full of proteins and flavour.

Filgud was launched in 2020 by Andrei Roșu, after a discussion with a friend who confessed that he could easily give up meat, but could never quit cheese and dairy, as the alternatives he had tasted so far weren’t satisfying enough.
Filgud was born after attending several cooking classes, fairs and exhibitions, after countless recipe trials and sessions with nutritionists and other experts with a vegan background, also counting on the association with a friend who was just as passionate as him.
Finally, a brand of vegan alternatives to animal products that are full of taste, proteins, fiber, vitamins and minerals, but lactose and cholesterol free.
Our aim is to offer options that are 100% plant-based as an alternative to animal products, but not just any options: ones that are full of nutrients. We want you to open your mouth and close your eyes with pleasure, while you experience the delicious filgud state.

Andrei Roșu is an endurance athlete, entrepreneur, musician, inspirational speaker, charity and sports event organiser, social project advocator and voluntary blood donor.
In 2011, he entered the Guinness Book as the first person to finish 7 marathons and 7 ultra-marathons on 7 continents. In 2015, he became the first Romanian to swim across the English Channel/La Manche. He took part in more than 100 marathons, ultra-marathons and ultra-triathlons, and in 2018, he was part of the team that managed to cross the Atlantic Ocean in the most difficult rowing competition world wide. He initiated the first running and fundraising platform in Romania, Transmaraton, and created a programme / app called “42kRosu - from couch to marathon, in 4 months”.
